The hotel is nestled in a business area of Rome, approximately 700 metres from Parco del Turismo. Eur & Garbatella, which is renowned for its monumental Fascist-era architecture includes entertainment venues like the Atlantico (2.3 km) and Fiesta (0.7 km). You will find yourself surrounded by greenery. Also, Pantheon Temple lies about a 15-minute drive away, while EUR Magliana underground station is a short way from the Cardo Rome. The accommodation is ideally located within a 9-km distance of Flaminio train station.
The rooms at this Rome hotel are allergy-friendly and fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and Wi-Fi as well as a minibar fridge and coffee/tea making machines. There are air-conditioned bedrooms and private bathrooms with a bidet, a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet provided. Offering amenities such as bathrobes, some bathrooms also have a sink. The rooms also look over the garden.
A kid-friendly buffet breakfast can be enjoyed at the Cardo. You can visit Vertici restaurant for breakfast and eat Italian dishes. Refreshing snacks and refreshing drinks are readily available at the swim-up bar onsite. There is also a restaurant with different Mediterranean dishes in the area.
Review by hotel critic
Having recently stayed at Autograph Collection, I found the experience to be a mixed bag. The hotel's location slightly away from Rome's center makes it ideal for business travelers seeking tranquility. The spacious rooms were comfortable, with a well-organized executive lounge offering convenience. However, the worn carpet and closed pool due to a lack of lifeguard were disappointments, detracting from the promised amenities. Although the staff were kind and accommodating, language barriers affected service in the restaurant. As an interior designer, I appreciate the attention to detail in the room design, and the comfortable beds offered a good night's sleep. The hotel's fitness center and pool area were highlights, providing relaxation after busy city explorations. In terms of value, Autograph Collection needs to address maintenance issues and clearly communicate available services to justify its price point.
